Auditorium & Multi-Purpose Hall
@ Masjid Sultan located at 3 Muscat Street, Singapore 198833
This year, we will be holding a women-only symposium in celebration of the International Women’s Day. Designed specifically for our Muslim women, the topic of discussion will be “Overcoming today’s challenges as a Muslimah – from the perspectives of a daughter, a wife & a mother.”
Led and organised by volunteers, the symposium will be addressing challenges facing our Muslimahs through the eyes of a daughter who is the primary caregiver of her elderly parents; a wife going through a difficult time in her marriage; and a mother coping with ‘working-mom guilt’ and having to manage work, household chores and children at the same time. What does it mean to be a good Muslimah in the midst of such struggles?
Understand the role of a Muslim women in today’s world; roles, responsibilities and challenges; and how our faith can help us find comfort in difficult times.
Ustazah Liyana Musfirah and Ustazah Nurul Izzah will be on the panel. They will be sharing in English and Malay.
We look forward to seeing you at Masjid Sultan soon.
With much love,
The Sultanahs
